The LWGQ insertion thermal mass flow meter measures gas mass flow directly, without the pressure and temperature compensation required by volumetric meters. It is a strong upgrade for large compressed air, nitrogen and natural gas headers where orifice plates and differential pressure transmitters create permanent pressure loss and require frequent maintenance.
