HIOKI BT5525 is professional insulation tester specially developed for lithium cell production safety inspection, mainly used for cell testing before electrolyte filling to eliminate hidden fire risks from micro short-circuit defects.

Equipped with proprietary BDD Break Down Detect function, it tracks tiny voltage/current fluctuation during charging to capture micro-shorts induced by metal contamination, which ordinary insulation meters cannot detect. Max 50mA charging and 40mA discharging speed drastically cut single test cycle, improving production efficiency. Built-in contact check function judges probe connection status to prevent false pass/fail results. Standard LAN/USB/RS232/EXT I/O interfaces support seamless linkage with automation equipment and CN040 scanning software, compact half-rack design saves cabinet space.
