Hot bitumen, polymer melt and crystallising slurries destroy direct mounted DP cells - and the accuracy of the measurement usually dies before the transmitter does. The Honeywell STR735D moves the diaphragm to the process with two remote seals and up to 8 m of armoured capillary, keeping the electronics cool while holding +/-0.05% reference accuracy.

Accuracy Improvement Details
