Why the Housing Upgrade Matters

Most fixed detector failures in the field are not sensor failures — they are enclosure failures. Salt-laden coastal air, hydrogen sulfide, acid mist, washdown jets and UV exposure attack painted aluminium housings long before the sensing element reaches end of life. This SPXOPSS316 answers that problem at the metal level, not with a coating touch-up.

• Sensor technology: dual wavelength infrared absorption, no consumable parts
• Detection range: 0-100% LEL hydrocarbon, methane or propane calibration
• Output signal: 4-20 mA plus Modbus, HART optional
