The Fluke 902 FC replaces the Fluke 902 HVAC clamp meter. The legacy model covered current, voltage and temperature but required a separate instrument for flame rectification current, a routine part of gas fired HVAC service.
The new generation adds a DC microamp range from 0 to 200 uA, so flame sensor output is measured directly, and introduces Fluke Connect wireless reporting that transfers job readings to a smartphone for immediate documentation. True RMS current measurement keeps compressor readings accurate on inverter driven units.
