Fluke 773 Milliamp Process Clamp Meter: New Generation Replaces Fluke 771

The Fluke 773 replaces the Fluke 771 as the loop diagnostic tool recommended with Milano transmitters. The 771 measured only up to 30 mA and could not supply loop power, so a separate source was needed for bench work.

The new generation extends the measurement span to 99.9 mA, which allows fault currents and over-range conditions to be read directly, and adds a 24 V DC supply plus source and simulate modes. Accuracy is held at 0.2% across the full span, so loop verification results remain comparable as instruments move between 12 mA working points and full-scale checks.
