The Fluke 1507 replaces the Fluke 1503 as the standard insulation tester in the Milano portfolio. The legacy 1503 offered only two test voltages and a 2000 MOhm ceiling, which limited trending on healthy equipment where readings sit far above that value.
The new generation extends the range to 10 GOhm and adds a 50 V setting for telecom and control circuits that must not be stressed at 500 V. Polarization index and dielectric absorption ratio are calculated directly on the display, replacing manual calculations that were prone to transcription errors. A supplied remote probe allows one person to complete a test on an installed cable run.

The 1507 is normally stocked with Fluke multimeters and HIOKI insulation meters, allowing a single order to cover acceptance testing and routine maintenance. Test lead sets and alligator clips can be added as spares.
