• Stronger safety ratings: the 87V MAX, 289, 179, 177 and 279 FC carry CAT III 1000V / CAT IV 600V ratings, the 283 FC is rated CAT III 1500V for photovoltaic DC strings, and the 117 and 15B MAX cover CAT III 600V electrical work.
• True-RMS across the family: every model is true-RMS, so distorted waveforms from VFDs, inverters and switching power supplies are measured correctly.
