Overview

CT6877 is HIOKI flagship large-aperture pass-through zero-flux current sensor specially developed for heavy-duty new energy high-current testing. It solves the pain point that traditional clamps cannot measure multiple bundled thick high-voltage cables of electric buses, heavy trucks and high-power charging stations.

The built-in double shielding structure drastically suppresses electromagnetic interference from SiC/GaN high-frequency inverters, while DC~1MHz ultra-wide bandwidth fully restores fast switching transient current waveforms. Basic amplitude accuracy reaches ±0.04% reading, phase error controlled within ±0.1°, ensuring reliable power efficiency calculation. Rated AC/DC 2000A continuous measurement, peak withstand ±3200A for surge current capture, CAT III 1000V safety insulation meets global automotive testing standards. Two cable length options available: standard 3m (CT6877) and extended 10m (CT6877-01).
